#449 Studio Tabletop still-life in a Day

This six-hour workshop will provide both a classroom and a studio shooting experience of what is involved with shooting objects in the studio for advertising and how to document your possessions for insurance claims or fine art. Product Advertising photographers are among the highest paid photographers in the profession. Good ones make well more than $1000.00 per day. Bad ones starve. Learn how to be one of the good ones. During our morning classroom session we will learn about what kind of lenses are best suited for this purpose and how to achieve maximum depth of field and how to compose and create a photo that emphasizes size, color and texture of the subject to maximize highest visibility in the advertising world. After the lunch break we will go into the studio and will learn about the lighting necessary to portray your subject to its best advantage. Learn how to control a diffused highlight or how to put a shadow into your photo for effect. We will demonstrate the use of light tents, flying flats, Product light tables, diffusors and reflectors. Bring your camera, tripod and all your lenses with lens hoods and polarizing filters.
