(Virtual Edition) Let's Make Games! - Global Game Jam 2026

Let's get together to collaborate and make games for Global Game Jam! Whether you're an artist, designer, programmer, musician, or complete beginner - we'd love to meet you, help you find a team, and collaborate with you to make games during this event!

Apologies if the in-person page disappeared on you! We decided to move this event to virtual on our Discord server because there's a winter advisory warning discouraging travel starting at 4 pm today.

The goal of a Game Jam is to come together and make a videogame, tabletop game, board game, or card game over a short period of time.

Friday, January 30th - KICKOFF NIGHT (this event)

• 5pm - 🎺**Jam Begins!**🎺 Mingling and team forming on the Find a Team channel.
• 6pm - Pitch Hour: Everyone will have an opportunity to present a game creation idea.
• 7pm - Creative Carousel: Jammers take turns sharing interests and skills and how they might like to contribute on a team this year. New team channels will be created to discuss blooming ideas as teams begin to form.
• 8pm - Lock-In & Gooo: Teams start planning and executing the creation of their games. Teams register on the GGJ website to prepare for submissions.
• Note: There's no hard cut-off as this is now a virtual event.
