**PURR-TINENT DETAILS- Who can join? This jam is mainly for local developers (18+). While the created games will be kid-friendly, we cannot host children without parents during the jam itself. This is due to the required educational components we lack and the relaxed workspace.
- Children are welcome to come and create with participating parents under their guidance. No alcohol will be on site, and these events tend to be mild-mannered. However, if you do bring your children, it is up to you to ensure that the content and conversations they encounter are appropriate for them.
- We expect all participating to abide by our code of conduct.
- No sign-up required to pawticipate: We are not taking official sign-ups. Please RSVP on here (Meetup) and/or let us know you'll be joining on our discord server.
- Utilizing our discord server is the best option for communication, especially if you already use the service. We have an introductions channel as well as a channel dedicated to this clever and cat-themed jam. It's a great place to meet people and get support. It is possible to fully participate virtually (although we do recommend the more dynamic in-person experience if you can make it).
- Submissions: We will provide a submission form through itch.io for developers to submit their projects. This helps our organizers discern which projects are a good fit for the atmosphere of the convention. There are also art-creation guidelines listed in the cat-jam discord channel.
- One of our jam organizers is bilingual in English/Spanish.
Get ready to bring your creative tools and love of cats to this one-of-a-kind jam!
