Our mission is to offer a welcoming environment where individuals of all backgrounds and skill levels can come together, share experiences, and collectively enrich their lives through the beauty of Utah's outdoors.
We believe that through our shared experiences, we can inspire one another to venture beyond our comfort zones, build resilience, and create lasting memories. Our goal is not just to hike, but to elevate lives, promote well-being, and build a community bound by respect, enthusiasm, and the shared thrill of discovery.

Join us for a delightful social gathering amidst nature's beauty! We'll embark on a scenic hike to a breathtaking spot where you can bask in the glory of summer sunsets or the enchanting city lights during winter evenings. Our primary objective is to cultivate a strong sense of community, ensuring that hikers of all proficiency levels can partake in this adventure.
This event is a collaboration between the Utah Outdoors group and our Slow Hikers Unite Utah community on Facebook. We're also excited to extend our invitation to members of Davis County Outdoors.
Meet Bryant, the event organizer. Feel free to visit his Facebook profile to familiarize yourself with the person leading the hike if that makes you more comfortable.
Safety Essentials:
To ensure everyone's safety, please bring headlamps as we might return in the dark. We recommend rechargeable Black Diamond headlamps such as the Astro 300-R (recommended), or the Storm 500-R which is the brighter choice. Trekking poles can help you maintain you balance, many of us use them regularly.
Supporting Our Group:
As part of our commitment to providing exceptional experiences, we participate in the Amazon Associates program. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases, which in turn help cover the costs associated with running our group. Your support is greatly appreciated!
- Bonfire: Mueller Park - Site 13 (Drinks and Games)Mueller Park Canyon And Trail, Bountiful, UT
We will be having multiple bonfires this summer. It is our intent to use these to bring people together, make friends and build Utah Outdoors into a more tightly knit community.
This weeks bonfire will have a drinks and games! We will have a table set up with Cards Against Humanity.
There are multiple picnic tables at the site, we encourage you to bring food and/or drinks to share at the communal table.
We recommend bringing a camp chair.
If this is your first time here, please note that a $15 fee is charged for parking at the site of the bonfire, we will have 10 passes to give away on a first come first serve basis. Alternatively, you can park at the mouth of the canyon and walk in to the bonfire site.
BE AWARE that there is no cell service at the site, make note of the site number and instructions for finding it before arriving. We will be at site 13. This site is located near the picnic area hosts RV, slightly up canyon and across the bridge. Once across the bridge we will be on the left.
These sites are not cheap to rent and we pay for the firewood to get us started, so contributions are very welcome. Our Venmo is @UtahOutdoors You can also contribute by bringing firewood.
