VSDC Vegan Potluck Picnic: Rock Creek Park Picnic Area #1

What better way than to spend a Sunday afternoon sharing vegan culinary delights with great company in the park?! Join VSDC and vegan meetup friends for a summer potluck picnic in Rock Creek Park in NW DC. The picnic starts at 4 pm and we have the space reserved until 6 pm so you may plan to stay until then. There is no charge to attend the picnic.

Items to bring to the picnic:
- Vegan potluck dish (no animal products of any kind) to share. For food quantity, please bring 4 to 6 times the number of servings times the number in your party.
- A serving utensil for your dish
- Ingredients list or recipe for your dish - Please print or write it out in advance
- Beverage for yourself or one to share (no alcohol allowed on premises)
- Help reduce waste so please bring your reusable plate, cup and utensils
Note: VSDC will provide basic supplies, drinking water, and ice.

Friendly reminder: vegans do not consume any animal products or byproducts (no meat, chicken/poultry, fish/sea animals, eggs, milk or dairy products, honey, etc).

Picnic Area #1 at Rock Creek Park is located next to Peirce Mill, near the corner of Shoemaker and Spring of Freedom streets. See the Picnic Areas webpage for an interactive location map.

Restrooms
Yes, there are basic restrooms very close by.

Free Parking
Yes, there is a parking area adjacent to the picnic area. It can not be blocked off or reserved.
