About us
This is a group of folks of all levels who enjoy getting out, exploring, and photographing the great nature around us by visiting local parks in Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland around the I495 Beltway. We are planning to provide ways to get together to learn digital photography techniques and do some portrait and street photography. I wrote the Virginia Beltway Photography Meetup Group Guide Book which lists 25 locations that the group has visited. There is an Info to Know section with links for directions and information about the location, plus photographs I have taken at the locations. The Florida's Photo Fest is in St. Augustine, Florida. This will be my fourth time, and it is a fun festival. The registration fee (early bird special) is only $25. The regular price is $50. Then they have workshop events that cost around $100 and classroom training that costs around $35. So, you get to pick and choose what to learn and experience.
I will be speaking for the second time on "AI and Photography" at the festival. I will have a drawing for a free copy of Luminar Neo.

No cages are required for this low-speed event. A Single Run course will be open on the other side of the circuit, and drivers can qualify for Hot Laps after demonstrating their ability to drift the entire course.
Washington Circuit: The facility has bathrooms available for use. Non-potable water is available for washing. No open fires are permitted, but grills are allowed.

Washington Revels will kick off the celebration with a festive musical procession throughout the park (11:00 a.m.). Following the parade, all are invited to take part in some joyous dancing around the Maypole.
Join us (rain or shine!) on Saturday, May 2, 2026, for a festival event in celebration of Glen Echo Park's 105-year-old Dentzel carousel as it opens for the season!
In addition to riding the carousel ($2 per ride or $5 for an all-day pass), visitors will enjoy many FREE activities throughout the Park, including performances, hands-on art projects, open studios & galleries, and more!
