Marvellous Menorca

Menorca may be smaller and less fashionable than Majorca it's near neighbour in the Balearics but it has an allure all of its own and houses some of the best beaches in all of Spain !

There shall not be any major hills although being coastal walks they will be undulating in the main.

We shall be following mostly Cami de Cavalls which is a fabulous walking path around the whole island and all walks between 6 and 10 miles in length.

We shall be staying in Cala Galdana so please in the next few months make your bookings for Tuesday to Saturday which is 4 nights.

Easyjet flights to take from/to Gatwick when available :
Tuesday 6.30am to 9.50am
Saturday 4.45pm to 6.15pm

Or fly Easyjet on Saturday to Luton 4.20pm to 5.55pm

Coastal walk Cala Mitjana - there and back

Coach 9am to Son Xoriguer for coastal walk to Cala en Turqueta then chance to swim before resuming coastal walk at 4pm back to Cala Galdana

Thursday

Coach 9am to Punta Nati Lighthouse for coastal walk to Ciutedella
We shall have lunch and spend some time in this most delightful town before taking the coach back at 5pm to Cala Galdana

Friday

Coach 9am for epic coastal walk from Cala Tirant to Binimel - la with a chance to have a swim both at lunchtime and at end of the walk where there is a bar with a most beautiful shaded garden
Coach back to Cala Galdana at 4.45pm

Saturday

Coach 9am for circular coastal walk at Es Grau where there will be an opportunity to swim as an alternative to the walk
Coach to airport at 1pm

Meetup fee £40 payable in advance by bank transfer ( season ticket holders : £30 ).

Deposit for coach share of fees £65 to be paid by Sunday 9th February ( cost of coaches £60 )

Meetup fees to be paid by end of September.

You should be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour and have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity.

Walking and hiking in the Great Outdoors presents certain low level risks and by rsvping to this trip you agree to undertake such risks.

If this trip has to be cancelled for whatever reason then it cannot be guaranteed that the coach monies will be refunded.

You must stay with the group at all times during the walk as it puts too much pressure on the group if people wander off.

If you make arrangements with others for restaurants or taxis you should honour it.
