We will be meeting to complete an adventure lab. Here is the description of the AL.

The Black Rock Sanctuary is located along a bend in the Schuylkill and was used by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a basin for settling coal silt out of the river. The basin has become an important habitat for waterfowl and migratory birds and today is a beautiful riverfront park. The Sanctuary contains acres of wetlands, woodlands and meadows and is dedicated to wildlife habitat and public use. Discover the history, geology, wildlife, plant life and habitats of the basin by walking along the interpretive trail and visiting one of the many education stations along the way.

What is an Adventure Lab? An Adventure Lab is a series of location-based puzzles and virtual challenges, similar to a self-guided tour, that is accessed through the Geocaching Adventure Lab app. Unlike traditional geocaching, these adventures do not involve hiding a physical container, but rather require you to solve questions and puzzles at different physical locations to complete the experience. Adventures are designed to tell a story about a place and can be completed by walking, driving, or a combination of both.

After the Adventure Lab we will head to The Phoenixville Cafe located at 106 Bridge Street, Phoenixville, PA for brunch.
