Details

Starting from the CP, we follow the path to Hollin Hall and then cross the moor by Middle Dean and through Crimsworth Dean to Lumb Hole Waterfall. We then climb to Shackleton Knoll and follow the Calder/Aire link to Walshaw. We then walk through Hebden Dale to Gibson Mill (cafe open) We then return to the CP.

All walks are circular, unless stated.
Meeting:
We usually gather around 10.15 to start the walk promptly at 10.30.
NB:
Walking boots, waterproofs, a packed lunch and drinks are required.
We do not allow dogs on our walks as we often go through farmer's fields with livestock.

In addition to the Meetup members shown, we have members of BSW and CHA attending walks , making a group of between 6 to 16 walkers.
Fees:
New membership fees for 2025 are £10 for 100's of walks with any of our 6 mid-week groups.
For non-members, we ask for a £1 donation on each walk towards our admin and insurance costs.
Please pay the Walk leader on the day.
