"Son of the White Mare" Screening at Trylon and Discussion at Arbeiter Brewing
Details
"Son of the White Mare" is a trippy, colorful animated Hungarian film from 1981. If you like watching movies under the influence, this would be a good time for it.
We're seeing it at the Trylon Cinema, so you'll need to get a ticket. I imagine you'll be able to get a ticket at the door, but just in case you can reserve tickets through trylon.org.
After the movie, I'd like to bring everyone a couple of blocks north to Arbeiter Brewing for the discussion. It'll be cold, but the walk from Trylon to Arbeiter takes less than 10 minutes.
I'll get there around 6:30 p.m. There's always street parking available around Trylon.
And feel free to sitemail me to recommend another movie for a future meeting. It would be great if you wanted to host and lead discussion too. You can go by the official list from the website 366 Weird Movies (366 Weird Movies + Apocrypha: streaming info last updated 5/24/21 - Google Sheets) or suggest something else.
