I have this event listed for September 13th, from 1-3pm, which is the day of the reception and presentation. But feel free to stop by and explore the exhibit at the Greenburg Town Hall Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from September 3rd to October 30th.
"What Do You See?"
The images in these photographs have been captured from an astonishing source, THE BARK OF EUCALYPTUS TREES.
Hiding in the shadows and colors of the bark are fascinating and surprising images. The eye of this photographer has recorded, without editing, the wonders of this art in nature.
The images can be viewed from all angles. Abstract Images can be enjoyed solely for their unique beauty. When you move from abstraction to interpretation, you become an active partner creating a personal vision of the hidden art.
Gideon Vardi, Photographer
I was born in Israel, immigrated to Canada, then the United States. Photography was a passion of mine from an early age and I dabbled in the art from throughout my career as a civil engineer and businessman. My passion with photography has been reignited on a more serious level at this later stage in my life, my "second wind" if you like. This exhibition was inspired by my wife Tsipi, an educator, who instilled the love of art in her students by challenging them to make art personal, "What Do You See?"
