Topic: Moving your Bios and Driver Management to the cloud

Abstract:
Intune today provides automatic update of drivers and firmware*, however what if you want to apply the same controls that you had within Configuration Manager? The need to control release cycles is vital to enterprises who validate firmware release versions.

This new solution uses cloud-based functionality, with Intune, Proactive Remediations, Azure storage, and key vaults to achieve this. The solution also includes Log Analytics workbooks to monitor your BIOS compliance and update rollout over time, giving you complete oversight into your environment.

Jan Ketil is an Enterprise Mobility MVP since 2016 and are working as a COO and Principal Cloud Architect at CloudWay in Norway. He has been in the industry for about 20 years working for both Microsoft Partners and Microsoft. He loves to speak about anything around Enterprise Mobility and Secure Productivity. He is also the lead for the community conference Experts Live Norway. Jan Ketil has presented at large industry conferences like Microsoft Ignite, Microsoft Inspire, Experts Live Europe, IT/DevConnections and NIC Conference in Oslo. He has also previously spoken at several occasions locally in Scandinavia for years.

About Maurice Daly:
Maurice Daly is Senior Cloud Architect at CloudWay. He is a Microsoft MVP in the area of Enterprise Mobility. He is an international speaker, speaking at numerous Microsoft focused user group events, and sessions at Microsoft Ignite.

He runs the https://msendpointmgr.com blog along with fellow MVP Nickolaj Andersen, an enterprise mobility focused blog with close to 1.5M visits annually. He is also the author of the Driver Automation Tool, a PowerShell developed GUI for Configuration Manager with over 40k downloads, used in thousands of companies globally.

With a background of over 20 years in the IT industry in both in-house and consultancy roles, he prides himself on being able to analyze the entire solution from both sides of the fence.
