This user groups is founded in February 2013 by IT Pro's with a passion for everything that has to do with managing Windows, but not limiting to Windows.

Our goal is to provide a platform for IT-Pro's to share knowledge gain from the field and to share tips and tricks. This can be done via periodic physical meetups, virtual events, blogs or other channels. We want you to join us and take up the role within our User Group by sharing your knowledge with your peers from the community.

Session title: Windows Defender application control in a cloud managed environment

Session abstract: This session will cover Windows Defender application control for devices that are considered managed, specifically cloud managed. During the intro the presenter will try and answer the import “Why” question, explaining the benefits a WDAC implementation can bring. It’ll be followed by some evolutions in the manageability of WDAC in a cloud managed environment. The close out section covers lessons learned over the past couple of years and the non-technical bits required during an actual WDAC implementation.

About Kim Oppalfens:

Kim Oppalfens was awarded as an MVP 1st of April 2005, which makes him one of a couple of people that have been in the MVP program for over a decade on top of being a proud member of the System Center User group Belgium. As an industry expert Kim is a frequent speaker and ask-the-expert guest at both national and international events. He is the business owner of OSCC, a consultancy firm specializing in projects in the systems management area.
