Our first night hike of the season, and a duplicate of exactly one year ago.... We will try to get in about 5 miles with some hills. We will go at an intermediate speed of about 3.3 miles an hour. More care will be given to avoiding sprained ankles in the darkness than to speed, but you must be in good shape to keep up. Bring flashlights (red light preferred to prevent blinding others) and flashlights preferred over headlamps to avoid accidentally shining in each other's eyes. We will meet at the north side of Forbidden Drive near Northwestern Stables.
Afterwards, if you have the energy, we will try to go to Conshohocken's Great American Pub, which is 10 minutes away for wings and a few drinks, we just need to make sure their kitchen will be open by the time we get there.
This is a "dog friendly" hike, if your leashed dog will keep up and is friendly with other dogs. Your dog is your responsibility! Dogs can't get into Great American Pub though so it is your choice of dog or wings!
