“Every child should have a toy for Christmas.”
We'll meet behind the Homewood Suites in St. Phillip’s Plaza near The Loop. I'm riding a recumbent bike, and you'll see a multi-color flag streamer coming up from the seat.

Our route will start at St. Phillip’s Plaza with wheels rolling at 8:00. We’ll ride up to Christina Taylor Green Park and on the return leg, we’ll stop at the Rillito Racetrack, arriving there between 10:00 and 10:30. GABA volunteers will provide drinks and cookies, and when the festivities are over it’s only a short ride back to St. Phillip’s Plaza.

In the spirit of the holiday, you can bring a smile to the people we pass by decorating yourself and your bike.

Please bring a new unwrapped toy (or maybe even more than one) with you.

If your toy is too big to bring with you, Oro Valley Bike Shop, Sabino Cycles and many other bike shops will have toy boxes set up a couple of weeks before the ride. We’re still recruiting locations, but there will be a list on the GABA Toy Ride web page that we’ll update as we get closer to the event.

At the racetrack, The Salvation Army will provide a truck to take the toys back to their HQ in South Tucson and get them ready to give out to the kids who need them.

This is a social ride on the loop, with an easy 12-13 mph pace. You don't have to be a GABA member to ride with us, so please invite your friends.
