It's our 2nd meetup of the year, and this time around, we have the absolute pleasure of chatting with Cameron Ginex, a Florida-based musician turned game composer. In the gaming world, he's best known for the 'Arctic Eggs' soundtrack; a surreal indie game where the player feeds the hungry citizens of a cold, dystopian, Antarctic city- using a frying pan, eggs, and whatever insane ingredients those freaky NPC's request. 'Arctic Eggs' was a hit in the indie world, receiving notable recognition and nominations- along with a vinyl release of the OST.

We'll be asking him about his creative process, forming a close & long-term relationship with game developers, his craft outside of the game world, and his perspective on what "video game music" truly entails. With all of the technical, sound design-y stuff we've been discussing recently, this will be a chance for us to pivot and dive into the emotional component of game audio.
