๐ Python HPC in 2026 with Mojo and CuPy
Details
Numpy is the usual first choice for High Performance Computing in
Python, but numpy is based on FORTRAN and C code from the previous
century. Mojo is a new language for HPC and AI programming that works
well with Python, and there have been some significant changes since
the CPUG talk I gave in February 2025. CuPy gives Python programmers
access to the widely used CUDA libraries for GPU computing. This talk
will give a short introduction and overview of Mojo and CuPy, and why
you might decide to use them.
Hugh is a frequent CPUG attendee and definitely knows what he's talking about.
