Gratitude Ceremony 2026 - Peruvian Despacho @ Sweat Equity
Details
This New Year’s Day, join us in the creation of a Peruvian-inspired despacho—a Pachakuti Mesa gratitude ceremony—to honor the Earth, all our relations, and consciously set intentions for the year ahead.
Led by Alejandro Villegas ([@firstmemory.one](https://www.instagram.com/firstmemory.one/)), carrier of a Peruvian shamanic lineage, we will gather in intentional community to collectively assemble a sacred offering. This act of gratitude is gifted to the land as a gesture of reciprocity and creates right relationship. The ceremony will be accompanied by the vibrational medicine of Raquel Karnavas (@firstmemory.one), whose sound bowls will support the space with resonance and depth.
This humble yet profound practice is central to the P’aqos of the Peruvian Andes. When gratitude work is held within an intentional group container, it carries the potential for true miracles—making it a powerful way to honor the closing of one cycle and the emergence of another.
> “In a despacho ceremony, we reverently create a beautiful and balanced mandala-like offering on a large piece of paper placed on the ground. We then gently fold it and offer it from the heart—through fire, earth, or water.”
