Hike and learn about the Dakota Heritage and see "GLOW"

Meet at 3:30 pm at 265 Commercial Street, St. Paul, MN 55106. To get to parking, turn left on Willius on the east side of CHS field, turn right on Positively Fourth Street, continue to the end of street, and park (for free!) on the street between appropriate signs. Start hiking at 3:45 pm. We will hike a 1 1/4 - mile loop on an easy gravel path with beautiful scenery and stop to listen to the stories and educational information about the Dakota heritage at the audio stations. After the hike, we will walk about a half mile to CHS field on a nice asphalt trail and attend “GLOW.” PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST PURCHASE YOUR GLOW TICKET AHEAD OF TIME ONLINE! GET 5:00 TIME SLOT FOR DECEMBER 31. No tickets can be purchased at door. It is advisable to purchase ticket early as there are limits for each slot. Tickets ($27.47) must be purchased at[ glowholiday.com/tickets](http://glowholiday.com/tickets). We can enter any time between 5-6 pm; GLOW closes at 9 pm. In case you want to buy any food or drink, please note GLOW is a cashless event and only credit/debit cards are accepted at the festival. The GLOW festival features over a million lights, Enchanted Forest, Vixen’s Zipline, and Giant Slide. Dress according to weather, as mostly outside, but there are some warming stations inside CHS field. You might also want to bring a camera to take some pictures and a small flashlight to use when walking back to our cars in the dark.

This event is being organized by a North Star Ski Club member and is open to anyone for free.
Join us for activities all year cross country skiing, hiking and biking including extended cross country ski trips in January, February and March locally, national and in Norway! Become a North Star member you can sign up for $20 a year for family/household.. The North Stars (north-stars.org) is approaching our 60th anniversary in 2027 with a continued mission to support cross country skiing and skiers in Minnesota. On our 50th anniversary we published a 50 years past and present publication highlighting the rich history of our club. All our extended trips are organized by members using a shared cost model. Other benefits of membership include weekly news letter Eloype in email , quarterly Loype with stories from our trips email or a printed version (higher member fee to cover cost of printing and mailing), access to all our extended trips, resources to be a trip organizer, access to our mobile app which makes it easy to have spur of the moment events like for example tomorrow morning and contributing to our extended trip fund which is used by trip leaders to cover initial reservation costs which sometimes have to be paid a year in advance. We are a non-profit.org 5013c with a volunteer board.
