About us
We are always looking for volunteers to lead weekend and/or evening events. Send us a message if interested.
Meet other locals who are interested in cross-country skiing, both skate and classic in season and other silent sports when there's no snow. Our members are a wealth of knowledge of local parks and trails, as well as gear and technique. All skill levels are welcome. This group is an extension of the North Star Cross Country Skiing Club established 1967.
Membership is encouraged at 20/yr/household but only required for participation in extended events. Every Year we have a number of extended Cross Country Ski Events locally, nationally and internationally that are published in October. For more information visit [North-stars.org](North-Stars.org)

Hike Lebanon Hills Regional Park
Lebanon Hills Regional Park, Eagan, MN, USNorth Stars Wednesday Wanderers Event. To see host info and last minute updates see North Star Calendar. Go to North Star Calendar to see location and directions. Meet at 10 a.m. at the Jensen Lake Trailhead, 1350 Carriage Hills Drive, Eagan, MN 55123. Start hiking at 10:15 a.m. We will hike the Jensen Lake, Sedge Pond, and Bridge Pond Loops. This is a scenic, easy to moderate hike of approximately 3.2 miles {5.2 km} that winds through mature hardwood forest, wetlands, and around three picturesque bodies of water – Jensen Lake, Sedge Pond, and Bridge Pond. The trail features well-maintained natural-surface paths, wooden boardwalks, gentle rolling terrain, and several bridges that provide beautiful views of the ponds and surrounding marshes. Look for turtles, waterfowl on the ponds, birds, and seasonal wildflowers along the trail. The trail is mostly shaded near the water with some short sections that are more exposed. Parts of the trail can get muddy depending upon the rain amounts. This hike is well-marked with restrooms and picnic areas at the trailhead. Bring a picnic lunch so we can gather together at the trailhead after the hike.
