🍀 St. Patrick’s Day Hike at O’Grant Park 🍀

Let the luck of the Irish guide your steps on this festive 4-mile, moderate-pace hike at O’Grant Park! We’ll follow the green trail—because on St. Patrick’s Day, every trail in the park is green. Keep your eyes peeled along the way… legend has it a few mischievous leprechauns call O’Grant Park home. 👀✨ After the hike, we’ll celebrate with some sweet, green treats to reward our shamrock-powered miles. Wear your green, bring your sense of adventure, and let’s make it a wee bit magical! 🌈🥾

Guests permitted. No dogs, please.

O'Grant Park is a grand 189-acre slice of heaven right in the heart of Centerville! 🍀 It’s a proper natural oasis where you can wander through whispering forests, lush meadows, and wild prairies that’ll put a song in your heart. 🎶 Whether you’re takin' the high road along the scenic ridgelines or a gentle dander through the cool bottomlands, these trails are the finest in the land for a bit of fresh air. 🥾 With its "Nature Nook" and a carpet of bright wildflowers in the spring, it’s the perfect spot for a bit of craic in the great outdoors. 🌸✨

A Friendly Guide to Sharing the Trails: As we hike, we'll be sharing the path with others. To ensure a peaceful experience for everyone, let's be mindful of how we communicate. Instead of loud call-outs, let's use quiet voices and enjoy the sounds of nature. 🐦 When encountering others, we can simply move to the right to let them pass. ➡️ If someone is coming up behind our group, a quiet message passed up the line works perfectly. There's no need to yell, stop or leave the trail entirely; just making a little space is all that's needed for everyone to share the path gracefully. ⚜️
