About us
Welcome!
This is a ladies-only social group for the 30+ crowd who are looking to build lasting friendships in the the greater East Wake/Johnston County area.
We will have dinners, brunch, book club, wine nights, movies, theater, hikes, weekend trips, etc… Have an idea? Suggest it! If you're excited about it, chances are others will be too.
This group is about more than making plans, it's about showing up for each other and making meaningful connections. That's why we have an attendance policy to help keep things respectful and fun for all.
Here's what that means:
- If you RSVP "Yes," we're counting on you to be there - both for logistics and because we'll miss you.
- Please avoid last-minute cancellations (within 24 hours of the event) unless it's truly unavoidable. Last minute cancellations will be considered a no-show.
- If you're on the waitlist and know you can't make it, please update your RSVP accordingly so someone else can take your spot.
- Members who no-show three times may be removed from the group, simply to keep things fair for everyone putting in the effort to show up.
We're here to build a community of women friendships, one Meetup at a time. Hope to see you at an event soon!

Let's Explore the Ava Gardner Museum
Ava Gardner Museum, 325 East Market Street, Smithfield, NC, USLet's explore the Ava Gardner Museum. The museum is dedicated to the life of Ava, a Hollywood actress, who was born nearby. The museum features costumes, photos, awards, and other personal items belonging to Ava Gardner. A visit starts with an introductory film about her life. The museum is located in the heart of historic downtown Smithfield.
Parking: is available on the street, in front of the Museum on Market Street and in a large parking lot behind the museum building, between Third and Fourth Streets. I'd suggest parking in the parking lot as cars on the street have been hit.
Admission is currently $14.
If there is interest, we can grab a bite to eat afterwards at the Gilded Pear, Massimo's Pizza or Gotham's Deli.
