YELP CUSTOMER REVIEW (2025)

Had an amazing meal with my boyfriend at Kanto ~ such a hidden Pinoy gem! There's a stunning mural on the wall that touches on so many historical moments for the Filipino community. The staff was also very nice and even opened the door for us :)

I ordered the beef kare-kare with mango juice, and my boyfriend ordered the shrimp pancit with calamansi juice, and we shared an order of the shrimp siomai.

The kare-kare had perfectly cooked green beans and eggplant, and the bok choy was so fresh! I put a little bit of bagoong alamang (sautéed shrimp paste) on eat bit! Both Kalamansi and mango juice were not overly sweet and so delicious.

The pancit was perfect and the siomai was large and filled to the brim! I was so surprised to see how empty the shop was, maybe we came a lot earlier than everyone else :) (it was about 11:45?) if I hadn't been so stuffed, I would've tried one of their other desserts, but I settled on two scoops of their Ube ice cream, which was also so yummy.

Please come check them out. You won't regret it!
