Day Trip to Cherry Blossom Festival [Opening Weekend]

We are heading to CherryHill Blossom Festival. This will be the opening weekend.

Please note that we will be taking public transport plus shared uber/taxi for this trip. There is also bus replacement for part of the journey (due to disruptions) and also shared taxi/uber since there is no public transport access to CherryHill Orchard. Please refer to the cost section details for shared taxi/uber cost before signing up. Also, if you are a content creator, please message me in advance.

Please follow all these three steps to confirm your spot:

Step 1: Please RSVP to this event on meetup.

Step 2: Please pay the organizer fee ($15 - Early Bird, $20 - Regular) via Trybooking - https://www.trybooking.com/DPPZL

Step 3: Please get Blossom Festival tickets for 12 pm on 19th Sep ($20.00) - https://fareharbor.com/embeds/book/cherryhill/items/550569/

Organizer fee payments are managed through Trybooking and not Meetup. You will see an "Unpaid" status on your RSVP. The only thing you need is the Trybooking confirmation which you will receive by email.

Trybooking tickets are non-refundable. There is no option to transfer the ticket to a new date. Trybooking tickets will be only refunded if the event is cancelled or moved.

Meeting point: Let's meet infront of TimeOut at Federation Square at 9:20 AM. We should be back to city around 5 pm. Please ensure that your myki has $4 before coming to the meeting point. Meeting directly at the destination is not an option for this event.

This is a rain-or-shine event.

Please carry takeaway lunch, water, and snacks. You also have an option to buy lunch/snacks at the Festival.

Every spring, Cherry Hill Orchards throw open their gates as the trees burst into full bloom — a sea of stunning white blossom that makes for picture-perfect photos and a lovely, festive day out in the countryside with family and friends.
The Wandin orchard is home to more than 13 varieties of cherry tree, and they all bloom at different times. Blossom is a fleeting thing, so depending on when you visit across the festival, you'll find different pockets of the orchard in bloom.
