Details
Friday looks like a nice summer day. Mornings temps will be cooler so we get started at 9 AM
We'll hike about 6 miles round trip out and back along the reservoir. This hike has about 200 feet of elevation change which is one long set of steps at the beginning and end of the hike. The hike is flat except for the stairs, and is mostly along the water but also has some wooded trails.
Distance: 6 miles total.
Elevation: 200 feet of total elevation gain.
Tortoise time: approx. 3 hours
We start together, we stay together, we finish together. We will hike at the pace of the slowest hiker.
Hat and suntan lotion if it is sunny, much of the hike is not shaded.
Bug Spray may be needed.
Bring plenty of water and a snack.
No dogs.
Please be on time so that everyone is ready to leave from the top of the dam at 9 AM.
Please note - park on the road in front of the dam. Pin location may not be accurate.
We will meet at the entrance to the Clinton Dam on Boylston Street in Clinton. There is ample on street parking in front of the dam.
