Troutfest Texas 2026

This is a blast to attend! The fly casting classes, speakers and visting with fellow fishers is awesome.

I'd like to set up a lunch or dinner so we can visit. Some year's I tent camp or drive home during the evenings.

GRTU’s Troutfest TX is the largest event of its kind in Texas and brings out a crowd of over 4,000 people interested in fly fishing and preserving and protecting cold water fisheries. For 2026, we’re reimagining Troutfest as “Mend the River,” a focused one-day event dedicated to supporting our Guadalupe River community’s recovery from the devastating July floods.

GRTU’s Troutfest TX is a nationally recognized event, and the largest of its kind in Texas, bringing out a crowd of over 4,000 people interested in fly fishing and preserving and protecting cold water fisheries. While we usually host a three-day event right on the Guadalupe River, this year we’re focusing our efforts on what matters most–supporting flood recovery through our “Mend the River” initiative. Join us on Saturday, February 21st for a special evening banquet that will keep our GRTU community connected while raising vital funds for river and community restoration.
