Hiking June 6th Saturday - 10 AM - 12PM - Tourne County Park
Hike Location:
Tourne County Park -Address: 98 McCaffrey Lane, Boonton
When you turn into the park, continue on McCaffrey Ln,
Go Pass the first smaller parking lot on the right, continue until you see the larger packing lot on the left with the picnic gazebo - we are meeting in this larger paved parking lot
Trail:
We will be starting on the Yellow trail, ascending to the Wildflower trail, onto the Orange trail, returning and crossing the parking lot, onto the Pink-Dot trail.
The trail is basically flat, but will include some ascension and rocky terrain. We will go slower on these parts as needed.
The Wildflower trail (garden) includes various plants/flowers marked.
Difficulty Level: Easy/Moderate, 400+Elev. gain, about 4.0 miles (Est. 2 hours) 2 - 2.5 mph
Restrooms: Portable
Please arrive 10min early to park so we can begin as scheduled.

What to bring:
Must wear Hiking boots as it will be rocky and muddy in some parts of the trail.
Sunscreen, Bug spray as needed.
Bring drinks and snacks. We will stop for water breaks as needed.
We can go for lunch afterwards for those who are interested, place TBD.
