Prominent community figures who have integrated the joy that comes from stillness into their personal and work lives will be sharing their insights in a series of Saturday afternoon conversations at GRC.
Melinda Powell, who has an MA in the Psychology of Religion, is co-founder of the Dream Research Institute, London, and past Vice-President of the International Association of Dreams. Formerly a psychotherapist and the Director of Help Counselling Centre, she now specialises in teaching and writing about dreams and lucid dreaming, and how understanding our dreams can improve our waking lives. She is the author of The Hidden Lives of Dreams (2019), Lucid Surrender: The Alchemy of the Soul in Lucid Dreaming (2021), and Dreams My Mother Taught Me: Lessons in Lucid Dreaming from Beyond the Grave (2025).
