The Dark Forces are on the march. Furyondy invaded by Iuz’ ogre army. Goblins have infested the Vesve Forest. Orcish Pirates hold the Ulek States at bay while devastating the Fairie Kingdom of Celene. Ket bandits are marching on Bissell. Rumors fly of Trolls from the Moors and Giants from the Barrier Peaks moving north. Trapped by these tides of war and destruction is the Archclericy of Veluna – your home. Even now,
refugees from the embattled lands flood into Veluna with tales of terror. It’s WAR!
A glimmer of hope yet remains. Stories of a weapon or a relic or an artifact or something very powerful (history is often vague after all) have reached your ears. “Through the Gates guard the pass, beyond the Krag watches the river, across the Lake mirrors the sky, boat rowed into mountains, past dark denizens, to find Demon Glass Shard, vanquish all” reads the scrap of parchment in your hands. Careful study of old
maps shows a possible connection – a fortified town in a mountain pass, a great spire of rock to the north, and an unmapped river. Beyond is a blank. Is it a dead end or a possible salvation for your family and friends? Dare you find out?
This will be a year long (maybe longer) campaign taking your characters from 1 st level to your retirement as world dominating overlords or your untimely demise, whichever. No experience necessary, just a good imagination, a team spirit, and a sense of humor.
