Hello, and welcome to Her Adventure!
We are a hiking group dedicated to creating a place for women (trans and non-binary inclusive) to feel safe and comfortable exploring nature. Her Adventure began with the goal of helping folks see themselves as hikers, adventurers, and strong ass humans who can haul their bodies up and over mountains. We're here to help cultivate the journey and sense of community.

Her Adventure is open and welcoming to newcomers. Katy and/or Bobbie usually arrive 20 min early for anyone who is new or feeling anxious, please feel free to meet us early!
We are going to begin a checkin process in order to help regulate the RSVP and ensure everyone who wants to join has an opportunity . Please make sure to connect withth Bobbie and Katy when you arrive.
Let's hike Hill of Life and sculpture falls
https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/texas/sculpture-falls-and-hill-of-life-falls-loop?u=i&sh=mxrympThis would be considered a moderate/challenging hike, specifically the elevation in and out of Hill of Life as well as some elevation throughout the Barton Creek Wilderness. We can take this as slow as needed. Rumor has it there is water in the falls currently so this should be a great time to hike this area.
There are water crossings x2 so be prepared to do so in your hiking shoes or carry water shoes.

Parking is street pay to park with an app. You may have to park and walk a distance to the trailhead depending on how busy it is. Parking can be a challenge at times.

Please update your RSVP if you cannot make it to the hike. Due to the increasing size of the group we have capped and sadly due to many no-shows some folks have not been able to attend who were wait listed. We will offer a three strikes rule and then will need to remove those who are not showing after 3 RSVP.
This will help us ensure everyone who is able to make it has an opportunity, and helps Katy and I know what to expect as your hosts. Thanks for helping us with this!
