(Thur) Snowy Towpath Walk: Kingston to Millstone Aqueduct

I know it’s cold, but I’m hoping to find two or three brave souls to enjoy this rare snowy scenery. If we don’t have enough sign-ups by 10:00 AM, the walk will be canceled.

The Walk: A 5-mile out-and-back winter walk along the D&R Canal towpath. We will enjoy the serene snowy landscape with the canal on one side and the Millstone River on the other, walking from Kingston to the Millstone Aqueduct and back.

• Distance: ~5 miles (Total)
• Terrain: Flat, but expect icy/snowy conditions.

MEET: D & R Canal Parking in Kingston

• Microspikes / Traction Devices: Mandatory. The path will be icy and slippery. No traction, no hike.
• Trekking Poles: Highly recommended for stability.
