Medievales of Andilly

Hello!

Our next meetup is an event rather than a hike. The Médievales of Andilly are perhaps the greatest and most ambitious of historical festivals in the region. With shows, reenactors, crafts, stalls and thousands of visitors, set in a forest between Geneva and Annecy. It should be a great experience!

Lets meet at the entrance at 09:30. I'll be leaving from Geneva from Lancy-Bachet Gare at 08:45 taking the 272 bus and alighting at Andilly Jussy at 09:15. If you would like to join me there lets meet at 08:30 as buses are not that frequent in that direction and we would rather not miss it.

Please note:
-This is on the French side, make sure you have proper ID to cross the border
-It is recommended to buy a ticket ahead of time on https://en.grandparc-andilly.com/ticket-office
-While I guess some stalls and vendors take card, it's probably best to have a few euros in cash
-Parts of the park might not have phone reception

I'm not sure when we'll be done, but there's a bus back at 14:51 and another only at 17:51. The idea is to get there early to avoid the hottest part of the day, I'm guessing we'll take the 14:51 but that can be decided on the spot.
