Come along on Saturday 6th December to visit the Christmas Market in the historic city of Bath!

**About the trip**
Voted one of the UK’s favourite Christmas market, it’s easy to see why people love getting into the festive spirit in Bath, now in its 25th year.

Against the backdrop of the city's Roman baths and magnificent 16th-century abbey, over 200 twinkling chalets line the Georgian streets. These little grottos hold many beautiful gifts, from handmade jewellery and cosy hand-knitted socks to tasty gingerbread and cheeses.

Bath sits in the county of Somerset and became a spa with the Latin name Aquae Sulis ("the waters of Sulis") in AD 60 when the Romans built baths and a temple in the valley of the River Avon, although hot springs were known even before then.

Apart from the Christmas Market, there are lots of things to do in Bath, like:

\- visit the Roman Baths
\- going on the Jane Austen trail and museum
\- have a Spa
\- visit the abbey
\- look around the town which has plenty of nice shops\, cafes and restaurants
\- visit Sally Lunn's Bun shop which is quite famous

**Coach seating**

* If you wish to reserve a seat on the coach in advance, after you pay please look at the seating plan in the photos [here](https://www.meetup.com/london_cultureseekers/photos/35684301/531172698/) and then email me - [general@cultureseekers.org](http://general@cultureseekers.org), with the seat number/s you wish to reserve. Its first come first served.
* The seat you sit on when you board the coach is yours for the day. If you wish to change seats on the coach during the day, you will need to get permission from the individual who is seated there.

**Cost**
Cost is £26 per person for Full Members and £32 per person for everyone else.

After you RSVP:
You will need to make payment (its not automatic), so either:

Once you RSVP and then pay, I will confirm your place.

**Become a Full Member**
To become a Full Member (£14 a year) either:

\- Pay cash at an event
\- Pay via Bank Transfer \(email me – general@cultureseekers\.org for details\)

\- Pay via PayPal\, send a payment to general@cultureseekers\.org\, using the ‘Friends & Family’ option
You have 3 days to make a payment, if no payment is received within 3 days, your place will be offered to the first person on the waiting list.

**Food & drink**
Its up to you whether you wish to bring your own food and drink or purchase items whilst there.

Please note, we only wait for 10 minutes after the advertised meeting time, so please be early or on time. The coach has to leave at a specific time.
