Chantry Flat-Winter Creek Trail maintenance

Meet near the intersection of Santa Anita Ave. and Arno Drive. This is a residential neighborhood so please be considerate. We will carpool to Chantry Flat and park in the staff lot. We will be working on Winter Creek Trail (both upper and lower).

Hike will is about 5 miles round trip with up to 1200' of gain. Most of the work will consists of removing fallen trees, fixing the tread and cutting back the brush.

Pants, long-sleeved shirt, good boots/hiking shoes are required. Hard hat, gloves and safety glasses can be provided. Please be sure to bring plenty of water and your lunch.
