Join us for a relaxed and welcoming “Coffee & New Friends” meetup, the perfect opportunity to unwind, enjoy a great cup of coffee, go for a walk and connect with new people in a friendly, low-pressure environment. Whether you’re looking to expand your social circle, have meaningful conversations, or simply get out of the house, this is a space where everyone is welcome. Come as you are, grab a drink, come for a walk and leave with new connections.
How it works
📍 Meeting point: Cafe Park Pantry
☕ 11:00am: arrive, grab a coffee if you'd like, and check in with the host
🚶 11:30am sharp: the walk begins
👟 Bring: comfy shoes, water, and some cash or a card for coffee
Running late?
The walk starts at 11:30am sharp, and we can't wait for latecomers. If you arrive late and manage to catch up with the group, you're welcome to join. Just find the host and ask to be checked in. If you haven't checked in with the host by the end of the walk, it counts as a no-show and a strike under our attendance policy.
Attendance policy for free outdoor events
- Please RSVP so we know how many to expect. The walk route and any day-of updates are sent to RSVP'd members, so RSVPing is the best way to make sure you find us if you're running late.
- Can't make it? Change your RSVP to "Not going" by 10am (1 hour before we meet).
- Cancelling after 10am, or not showing up without cancelling, counts as a strike. There are no warnings for these events.
- If you get a spot from the waitlist on the day, you can cancel at any time without penalty.
- RSVPs and the waitlist close at 10am.
- Strikes at back-to-back events, or 2 strikes in the same month, mean removal from the group. Your count resets at the start of each month (back-to-back strikes still count across months).
Genuine emergencies happen. Message us before the event and we'll take it into account.
Please note that downloading our app is a requirement for attending the event. The app will be used throughout the event for prompts, activities, and other interactive content so having it ready will ensure you can fully participate.

Event photography and videography may take place at this event. Images and footage captured may be used in future BeSocial promotional materials.
