π HELLO AND WELCOME TO MOVIE ROADHOUSE LONDON THE LARGEST MOVIE CLUB IN LONDON MADE BY MOVIE FANS FOR MOVIE FANS.
In a nutshell, we are just a bunch of Film Buffs, Filmmakers and Creators who like to go out for drinks and watch movies. We also rate and review the films after we watch them and the results are posted on our **Letterboxd **Page.
We are also avid supporters of Independent Cinema, The Film Festival Guild, Medicinema and establishments like Prince Charles Cinema and the British Film Institute to mention a few. Thanks to this we sometimes gain special access and discounts to special events that we can then share with you. Plus we meet up regularly for a social to catch up again at the BFI which is a lot of fun.
We try to stay well informed when it comes to film news, New Releases and Re-Releases and members are also able to vote for what films they want to see through our WhatsApp Group (at request), WhatsApp Channel, Telegram Group (at request) and Telegram Channel.
Whatever the time of year we do our best to always be around, come and join us for a good time.

It is a restless moment in time.Hello guys π If you're in the mood for some heartbreaking love then we will be meeting on a Sunday afternoon for the acclaimed romantic drama by Wong Kar-Wai. A story set in 1960s Hong Kong about two married individuals who develop a complex, unconsummated romantic connection after discovering their spouses are having an affair. The movie is renowned for its beautiful cinematography, evocative soundtrack, and exploration of themes like longing, desire, and the nature of memory.
We will be meeting for drinks beforehand and then watching a decent film while supporting one of our favourite and beloved cinemas. Here are the details bellow:
- 5:15 PM: Meet & Greet next door at Victory House Wine Bar (next to the Cinema). I will be there with a sign.
- 6:00 PM: Then it's Screen 1 at Prince Charles Cinema where we have selected seat D6
- 7:50 PM: We reconvene to the Review & Score the Film. And then we go for drinks to discuss the film. The results will be posted on Letterboxd.

π¬ A KILLER'S LIKE A MAD DOG
They say there's no such thing as a bad man. Only bad situations. And a mad dog only sees straight paths especially when a bad day gets worse.Hi guys π let's meet up for a classic Japanese crime drama directed by Akira Kurosawa. It follows a rookie detective, whose gun is stolen and later used in a murder. This leads him on a frantic search through Tokyo's underworld. The film explores the harsh realities of postwar Japan and the detective's moral journey as he navigates the criminal world just like a Stray Dog. His subsequent race to find this weapon is not only beautifully filmed but equally well acted by the two main characters.
My taste for foreign movies is expanding internationally. Let's have some drinks and a discussion in the quaint Garden Cinema. Here are the details below:

β¬ In London's West End β¬ A cinematic year unfolds. In 2025 films are varied and throng β¬ Some will resonate β¬ Some will feel wrong β¬ But indie gems have a subtle spark β¬ They ignite the mind β¬ They leave their mark. The big-budget films have a vibrant hue β¬ But not all that shines β¬ Is always true.Hello Everyoneπ We are now bang in the middle of spring which means the temperature is rising, and it's almost summer isn't that cool? We've been flooded with movies, and yes, some have been very varied, but I have to say that I think this year we've had better movies than last year for sure. Now we expect to be flooded with the Summer Movies and some of these look pretty cool like Mission Impossible: Final Reckoning, Karate Kid: Legends, 28 Years Later and of course the new Superman. And of course let's not forget the independent scene, which always brings us gems like Flow.
If this is your first time, we are just a super chilled and fun crowd of Movie Fans, Creators and Filmmakers who love movies, meeting up and talking about them. And as the temperature rises we will be meeting at the Super awesome BFI Riverfront: Balcony Bar (Upstairs) which overlooks Waterloo Bridge and the River Thames. The bar offers a range of dishes and beverages plus we can sit in the inside or outside the balcony. It is a pretty cool place to hang out if you are a Film Buff or Filmmaker and itβs also part of The British Film Institute.
So letβs set the tone for this summer and go through this year's list so far. There is so much to talk about, so let's meet up. And until then may the force be with you!

This is like a blast from the past, well sort of or at least I hope so. You see back in the day we would receive movies that were sort of tongue in cheek yet action packed, fun and we love them that way. It was a good suspension from reality. Then somehow we lost that until a little show called Cobra Kai revived the awkward kid on the block. So I guess it was inevitable to revive the beloved Karate Kid Legacy. And no offence to Mr Smith's Version but Iβm so glad that they didnβt follow that up. The original franchise was so much better. This will also be director Jonathan Entwistle's first martial art film, and it's looking good so far but fingers crossed π€ nonetheless.
