Nashville Hiking Meetup

Notes: Dogs on a leash okay (Park regs require no more than 6-ft leash - you may be ticketed if you fail to use a leash!) This hike will be a combination of the Edwin Warner Woods (Blue) trail and park roads. This is a moderately strenuous hike of 5 - 6 miles with more than 900' of elevation change (details on trail map). Headlamps/Flashlights will be necessary on this hike. Duration: 1.5 hrs
Pace: Moderate

This will be a nonstop hike at a moderate pace on the paved path along the Little Harpeth River until we get to Crockett Park. We will then walk along various paths within the park before we turn around and return.

Meet at River Park across the street from the Brentwood Public Library and meet near the Pavilion. Take the Concord Rd exit on I-65 and go east about a quarter mile and make a right at the light (Knox Valley Dr). The parking lot is on the left located in River Park.

This will be a 5 mile hike to include the lake trail and two ridges. It's a moderate to difficult hike depending on experience.

Hike takes place year round and generally in all conditions except for high risk (windy & thunderstorms).

Meet: Granny White Pike entrance by the Nature Center.

1. Enter from Granny White Pike and turn on Otter Creek Road.
2. There are no signs for Radnor Lake.
3. DO NOT enter from the Franklin Road side. The road is blocked.
4. Pets are NOT ALLOWED on the trails.
