Saturday morning is going to be beautiful in the Forest! Are you feeling a nudge to get outside and relish this Autumn beauty? This is our chance!
Join me on a Nature and Forest Therapy walk! I'm a certified guide (with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy), and I want to BE outside this weekend!! This is an opportunity for both of us to spend time in the More-than-Human world, building relationships and accepting the invitation to slow down and allow change.
Each forest bathing walk is a guided experience that lasts approximately 2 1/2 hours of gentle walking in Nature. This is not a practice to burn calories or "get in steps." Think of it as a guided meditation walk in the woods.
Our Forest Therapy Walk will be hosted at the Home Farm Retreat in Lewisberry, PA. The Home Farm has 76 acres of fields and forest, gentle walking trails, and a beautifully restored barn, which will be our starting and ending point for our morning walk.
Be prepared for the weather. Wear layers and always consider what you need to be the most physically comfortable: a hat, a fleece, comfortable shoes, and bug spray. I will provide water, light snacks, and tea.
Please meet us on the barn's back porch at 8:45 a.m. You may park right beside (in front of) the barn. We will start our walk at 9:00 after everyone has had a chance to use the restroom, get dressed in comfortable layers, and gather on the porch.
We will end our walk by 11:45 and return to the barn before departure.
