EASY 5 MILE ROUND WALK TO SOBERTON WITH REFESHMENTS.

Please join me for an easy going 5 mile walk from Hundred Acres Wood Wickham, through the Forest of Bere along the Pilgrims Trail, crossing the A32 onto the Meon Trail to Soberton and a refreshment break at the Bold Forester.

The route is mainly of gravel paths, with the final half mile to the PH on quiet tarmacked roads. There are a couple of slight gradients, but nothing too strenuous. Given that it's still winter it might be wet and muddy in places.

The Bold Forester offers a lunch menu with snacks.

We will return via a slightly shorter route.

We will commence the walk in the West Walk Car Park. Unfortunately they do charge for the service. The machines are cash only or the fee can be paid via the Ringo Parking App. £4 for 4 hours. ( ringo code 31049)
Perhaps car sharing could be considered to reduce costs.
