Talk Title: Practical AI for Data Engineering Workflows
Talk Summary: In this talk, I’ll walk through how you can accelerate your data engineering workflows using practical AI skills.
I’ll introduce you to Skills.md, OpenCode, and MCP, focusing on where AI can practically add value and reduce your time to value.
The goal of the is simple: you should leave with at least one skill you can apply in your job.
🎤 Cyril Gagnaire, Lead Consultant, Arkahna
Talk Title: Managing your Fabric tenant at scale with Terraform
Talk Summary: As Microsoft Fabric adoption grows, managing tenant-level configuration in a consistent, repeatable way becomes critical. In this talk, we’ll explore how Terraform can be used to manage a Fabric tenant as code — from capacity and workspace configuration to governance, security, and environment consistency.
We’ll cover practical patterns for structuring Terraform projects, handling environments, and integrating Fabric tenant management into existing CI/CD pipelines. The session focuses on real-world lessons learned, common pitfalls, and how infrastructure-as-code can help teams scale Fabric safely without relying on manual configuration.
Ideal for data engineers, platform teams, and cloud architects looking to bring stronger governance and automation to their Fabric environments.
Bio: Cyril is a Lead Data Consultant specialising in the Microsoft data and analytics ecosystem, with a strong focus on Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure, and modern data platform architecture. He works closely with organisations to design, build, and govern scalable analytics platforms using infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and cloud-native best practices.
With hands-on experience delivering production Fabric and Databricks environments, Cyril focuses on turning platform governance, security, and deployment patterns into repeatable, automated solutions using tools such as Terraform and GitHub Actions. He regularly works with data engineers and platform teams to bridge the gap between data architecture and operational excellence.
