About us
PyLadies is an international mentorship group for marginalized genders, such as but not limited to non-binary people, trans people, and women in tech, with a focus on helping our community become active participants and leaders in the Python open-source community. All skill levels are welcome!
Founded in 2011 during PyCon PyLadies was a response to the lack of representation and diversity within the Python community.
Our mission is to promote, educate and advance a diverse Python community through outreach, education, conferences, events and social gatherings. To learn more about the global community, visit the PyLadies website.
We expect all participants in our events and community to abide by this code of conduct. http://www.pyladies.com/CodeOfConduct/

PyConDE PyData Special: walking guided tour
PyConDE PyData Darmstadt, Schlossgraben 1, 64283 Darmstadt, Darmstadt, DEHi PyLadies Berlin!
As part of our caring planned activities during PyConDE PyData in Darmstadt this year we will host a walking guided tour, inviting participants to step outside the building.
Walking together shifts conversation. It slows thought, softens hierarchy, and makes room for informal connection. The city becomes part of the experience, reminding us that community extends beyond stages and screens.
📅 April 14, 19:00 (after the last conference activity)
⚠️ Limited to 20 participants
📩 Registration: via MeetUp, via email berlin@pyladies.com or at our space boothCheck all of our planned with care activities this year at https://2026.pycon.de/blog/pyladies/
