Designing an Economy that is in Service to Life
Join our speaker, a researcher and designer of regenerative economy solutions, for a dynamic presentation that will explore how we can build an economy grounded in the principles of living systems — with a focus on the Richmond region and the James River watershed. He will introduce economic worldviews that value and protect ecological systems, explain the importance of bioregions, and draw inspiration from the murmuration of starlings to highlight strategies for movement building. Mike will also discuss emerging local initiatives, such as Pollinators for Change, that are connecting people towards making a more sustainable and community-driven future. The presentation will include Q&A and optional calls to action.
