Come enjoy birding and fellowship with The Richmond Audubon Society, we welcome both members and non-members to meetings and field trips. All are FREE unless otherwise noted. This meetup is facilitated by the Richmond Chapter of the National Audubon Society, an organization dedicated to the appreciation, advocacy and conservation of our native bird life. Ewa Greene, RAS Trip LeaderMeet venerated birder Ewa Greene at 7:30 a.m. by the park's entrance at the end of State Park Drive. Parking is available along State Park Dr.
For a carpool opportunity, meet at the Quinton Park & Ride at 5:50 a.m. (the newer parking lot, located at this pin: https://maps.app.goo.gl/eW9NXcCfUvtFAwpj7). We will depart that location at 6:00 a.m. to arrive at Grandview by 7:30 a.m.
Grandview Nature Preserve offers coastal birding. The trail leads through marshes and then along the Chesapeake Bay shore. This is a walking birding tour and requires a round-trip hike of about 5 miles. October 11 is the rain date.

RAS trips are open to all. RAS membership is encouraged but not required, and unless the trip specifies otherwise, you don't need to sign up. Please feel free to stay for as long as you want. Attendees do not need to stay for the entire time listed.
