Join us on this iconic hill, visible from all around the county due to the trees at the summit. One of those walks I will never tire from! Winter walks will be muddy and maybe wet so please dress accordingly. Poles may be advantageous.

Please ensure you have a good level of fitness as this is a hilly hike.

I will try to book a table for 6-8 people at the cafe in Leaf Creative garden centre. Please state if you intend on eating at the cafe. They used to do a fab Sunday lunch but need to check if that is still the case. They defo do fab cakes, scones, coffee etc.

Dogs are welcome on the walk (and at the cafe) but need to be on leads if there's cattle in the fields etc.

There is a charge of £2.50 for this hike. £1 will go into group funds to support with Meetup fees, and £1.50 going to food banks. Payment preferably by PayPal on signing up (please use 'Friends & Family' option else Paypal charges a fees): richadwivedi@gmail.com, and quote "Mayhill". Although not ideal, we can accept cash on the day but please bring correct change.

We aim to offer a warm welcome to new members and a friendly greeting to everyone.

Let's push February out with a lovely winter walk 🙂
