About:
The Maryland side of Great Falls, part of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park, offers some of the most dramatic views of the Potomac River as it drops 76 feet through a series of jagged rocks and rapids. The area is renowned for its rugged beauty and the engineering marvel of the C&O Canal.
