Overnight Base Camp Hike in Vredefort Dom
Thwane Bush Camp has rugged koppies, rocky ridgelines and river-valley views in a World Heritage landscape shaped by the ancient meteorite impact. Trails link into the Meteorite Hiking Trail, with routes that climb into the “bergland” and drop into the Vaal River valley for big scenery and a proper leg-burn. Roikat Camp is the comfy base: safari tents plus a central lapa setup, braai/firepit vibes, and an easy camp atmosphere for post-hike storytelling.
