OldCabin , Twin Oaks and a short detour will take us on 7-mile, 1000' Elevation Gain loop trail.
Route we will follow: Alltrails map
Mostly unshaded so don't forget those hats and sunscreen. Poison Oak and tick precautions apply.
We may even see the only turkeys (pictured above) to survive the Thanksgiving Turkicide.
There is free parking if you park on the side of Highway 1, or cash in some of your Bitcoin holdings and pay $6 at the lot. Or, if you're an old geezer & in possession of a Golden Bear pass, you can park for free!
There are restrooms at the parking lot.
As always , carpooling recommended:

After the hike let's convene at Abbot Square Market: 725 Front St. in downtown Santa Cruz. 7 very diverse restaurants share a large outdoor dining area. They even have Goat Cheese Ice Cream!
The IOPQ this week will be: If you could have any celebrity's voice, who would it be and why?
ATTENDANCE: If you are signed up for a hike, or on the waitlist, please remove yourself to the "not going " list as soon as you become unsure about attending, so another waitlister can have adequate notice that they are going. Also, it is not okay to just show up to a hike you are not listed as "going" to. Hikers who violate these policies will have that information noted on their permanent record, and their parents may be notified.
DO NOT ATTEND if you're experiencing any cold or flu symptoms, have a compromised immune system, or if you've been exposed to or tested positive for COVID-19.
