TRAFFIC LIGHT PARTY
By Izzy Azzopardi
Director Brea Macey
Set at a university party with the familiar (and slightly obnoxious) “traffic light” theme — wear red if you're taken, yellow if it's complicated, and
green if you're single — Traffic Light Party is a darkly funny and emotionally charged exploration of modern connection. The play interrogates the way young adults navigate love, sex, friendship, and ambiguity in a world that craves clarity but thrives in the grey. What do our labels say about the value we place on different kinds of relationships? If people are ‘more than’ friends, what does that say about the value of friendship? If it’s ‘just’ sex do boundaries still need to be respected?
