This trail offers a great workout along with stunning scenery. With recent rains, you might be treated to beautiful views of wildflowers in full bloom.The route involves ascending on Kiwanis Trail then continuing onto National and past the rock house to the ridgeline followed by a descent on Ranger, and finally a relatively flat walk on Las Lomitas.
We will move along at a good pace with several stops to take in the views.
Rated Intermediate with some sustained climbing up in sections.

We will meet at the trailhead at 8:30 am and after introductions, we will be on the trail!

Please note: There are bathrooms at the entrance to South Mountain Municipal Park

No water or facilities at this trailhead

Bring 2 liters of water and wear sturdy shoes as the trail is rocky. Poles might be useful for the hill section.
