Come out and playtest some games from the Duke Game Development, Design, and Innovation Program. We have worked with Duke to put together a showcase of projects from their most recent Game Jam.

There will also be projects featured by other local independent developers, so bring your project and show it to our open & supportive community!

About the Duke GDDI program
The Master of Engineering Program in Game Design, Development, and Innovation (GDDI) from Duke is a hands-on, industry-centered program that will prepare you to work for AAA and indie studios, or to create serious games in fields like education, health care, and scientific exploration.

What you can expect at the event:

  • Check out local indie videogames, TTRPGs, board games, and experimental projects
  • Bring your prototypes, works-in-progress, experiments, or your back catalog releases (please include content warnings if necessary)
  • We're Family-friendly! Supervised kids are welcome to attend and play games.

HOW TO GET IN TO THE EVENT:

  • Go to the front door of the 800 building. You will see a big blue "800" sculpture and a flagpole/carpool loop.
  • Outside the glass sliding doors is a small black doorbell ringer.
  • Ring the doorbell, and a volunteer will come get you in ~1-2 minutes

Food & Drink
Most folks bring snacks or seltzer water to share. You're also welcome to BYO dinner and eat at the event. The Boxyard food hall across the street is a good option for takeaway food, or visit one of the many nearby restaurants in the RTP area.

No need to reserve space for your game - just show up with it and we will make room!
